Privacy policy

Oído en Vivo (oidoenvivo.com) is a guide to live music in Colombia. This page explains what data we handle when you visit, what we use it for, and what you can decide. Last updated: 5 October 2026.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The party responsible for your data is Tecnocratica Services S.A.S., NIT 901.082.118-1 (Colombia).

For any question or request about your data, write to us at info@tecnocratica.com.co or through the contact form.

2. What we do not do

  • We do not ask you to register or to create an account to use the site.
  • We do not sell your data.
  • Advertising and analytics are switched on only if you accept them in the cookie notice.

3. What data we handle, and why

  • Technical data of the visit. Like any website, our server records the IP address, the date and time, the page requested and the browser. We use them to keep the site secure and to fix faults.
  • Your choice about cookies. When you answer the cookie notice we keep your answer in a first-party cookie, oev_consent, for 180 days, so that we do not ask you again on every visit.
  • Contact form. If you write to us we receive your name, your e-mail address, the subject and the message by e-mail. We use them only to answer you.
  • Check against automated submissions. Forms show an image with a code. Using it stores, temporarily, the IP address and the time of the attempt, to tell a person from a program.
  • The team's session. Only the people who run the site log in, and only then is a session cookie used.

4. Cookies

On your first visit the site stores no cookie. The cookie notice lets you choose among these categories, and you can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" button at the foot of every page:

  • Strictly necessary. Those that make the site work, such as the one that remembers your choice. Always on.
  • Analytics. If you accept it, we use Google's measurement tools to learn which pages are read.
  • Advertising. If you accept it, you allow advertising to be measured and personalised (see section 5).
  • Preferences. If you accept it, the site remembers choices such as your city and your language.

5. Google advertising

When the site shows advertisements it does so with Google AdSense, and loads them only if you accepted the "Advertising" category. In that case:

  • Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or to other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and to other sites on the Internet.
  • As a result of ad serving, third parties may place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons or IP addresses to collect information.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings. You may also opt out of other vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
  • Google explains how it uses data when you use its partners' sites or apps.

6. Who it is shared with

  • With the provider that hosts the site, which handles the technical data on our behalf.
  • With Google, only if you accepted analytics or advertising, as explained above.

We share your data with nobody else, unless a competent authority requires it.

7. Maps and links to other sites

Maps are drawn on our server: when you look at one, your browser does not connect to the map provider. Fonts are served from this site as well.

The site links to ticket sellers, to venues' own pages and to apps such as Waze, Uber or Google Maps. When you follow one of those links you leave Oído en Vivo and that site's privacy policy applies.

8. How long we keep it

Technical data and the data of the check against automated submissions are kept only as long as those purposes need. Contact messages, while we deal with your enquiry. The cookie holding your choice lasts 180 days or until you delete it.

9. Your rights

Under Colombia's Ley 1581 de 2012 you may know, update and rectify your data, ask for it to be deleted, withdraw the authorisation you gave, and file a complaint with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio. To exercise them, write to us at info@tecnocratica.com.co or through the contact form.

10. Minors

The site is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change what we do with your data we will update this page and the date at its top.
